Death Of Paddy Kinane, Formerly Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 28th January 2024, of Mr Patrick (Paddy) Kinane, Verdon Mews, Cork City, Co. Cork and formerly of Ardeen, The Mall, Templemore, Co. Tipperary.

Mr Kinane passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Marymount University Hospital, Curraheen Road, Cork.

Pre-deceased by his parents James and Catherine, his sisters Noreen and Maureen, brothers Sean, Jimmy and Micheál; the passing of Mr Kinane is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his children Catriona, Roisin and James, grandchildren Darragh, Jarlath, Shane and Michaela, sisters Cecilia and Breda, niece Patricia and all his other nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, treasured neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Kinane will repose at O’Dwyer’s Funeral Home, Cappanaleigh, Upperchurch, Thurles, Co. Tipperary on Tuesday evening, January 30th, from 6:00pm with recitation of prayers at 7:00pm.
His funeral cortège will be received into Ileigh Church, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary on Wednesday morning, January 31st, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Saturday 27th January 2024, of Mrs Ester O’Meara (née Long), Ballycahill, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband Paul, sister Eileen and brother Francis; the passing of Mrs O’Meara is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sons Jimmy, Billy, Frankie, Martin and Paul, daughter Julianna, grandchildren Caitlin, Cathal, Aoibheann and their Mam Mary Ellen, Kyla, Roisín, Diego, Briaín, Shónagh, Ódhran, Aislinn, Lúsai, Stephen and Lauren, brothers Willie and Dan, sisters Bernie and Dolores, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, son-in-law Pat, daughters-in-law Anne-Marie, Lili and Carolyn, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs O’Meara, will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Castlequarter, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, [E41 VX81] on Tuesday afternoon from 5:30pm until 7:00pm, before being received into the Church of St. Laurence O’Toole, Inch, Munroe, Bouladuff, Thurles same evening.
Requiem Mass for Mrs O’Meara will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 11:30am, followed by interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Bouladuff, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Eileen Barrett, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 26th January 2024, of Mrs Eileen Barrett (née Danagher), Crohane, Ballingarry (South Riding), Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

In her 92nd year, pre-deceased by her loving husband Liam and sister Kathleen; Mrs Barrett passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at the Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross, Thurles.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her daughters Breda (Quirke), Dolores (Bourke), Helen (Linnane), Yvonne (O’Sullivan), Laurie (Kirby), sons Seán and Michéal, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, adored grandchildren and great grandchildren, her close cousins Séan (O’Brien) and Michael (Danagher), sisters-in-law Helen (Tynan) and Josie (Fitzgerald), nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Her remains will be received into the Church of St. Mary, Bailey Street, Killenaule, Thurles on Wednesday morning, January 31st, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Drangan Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Margaret Bracken, late of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 26th January 2024, of Mrs Margaret Bracken (née Comerford), Ryevale Lawns, Leixlip, Co Kildare and late of Templetuohy, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mrs Bracken passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, Mill Rd, Abbotstown, Dublin after a long illness, bravely borne.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her family; loving husband Gerry, son David, daughter Kate, sister Bridget (Mulcahy), brother Jerry, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Friday 26th January 2024, of Mr Sean Ryan (R), Cloneyharp, Clonoulty, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Foildarrig, Cappawhite and Gurth, Hollyford, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his wife Peggy (nee Browne), infant granddaughter Niamh, brother P.L. and his nephew Edmond; Mr Ryan passed away peacefully.

His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving sons Cathal, Eamonn and Richie, daughters-in-law June, Maggie and Alexandra, grandchildren Sean, Daniel and Caitlín, sisters Maura (Heffernan), Sheila (Fox) and Kathleen (Carr), brother Canice, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

His remains will be received into the Church of St. John the Baptist, Clonoulty, on Sunday morning to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St. Senan’s Cemetery, Knockavilla, Dundrum, Co. Tipperary.
