Death Of Paddy Callanan, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 14th February 2024, of Mr Patrick (Paddy) Callanan, Lucan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Ardbawn, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr Callanan passed away peacefully, at his place of residence.

His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family; wife Margaret children Martin, Caitriona and John, grandchildren Emma, Lea, Max, Charlie and Ben, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Callanan will repose at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan, Co. Dublin on Sunday afternoon February 18th from 2:00pm until 4:00pm.
His remains will be received into the Church of St. Mary, Lucan Road, Lucan, Co. Dublin, on Monday morning, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 10:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in Esker Lawn Cemetery, Lucan, Co. Dublin.

Death Of Ned Gleeson, Formerly Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Monday 12th February 2024, of Mr Ned (Edward) Gleeson, Rathdown Park, Greystones, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Ballyheen, Templemore, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Margaret (née Fleming); Mr Gleeson passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Eyrefield Manor Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his family; cherished son Jim and daughter Evelyn, dear friend Anne, adored sister Julia, daughter-in-law Jo, son-in-law Nick, grandson Tom, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours, carers and a large circle of friends.

The earthly remains of Mr Gleeson will be received into the Church of the Holy Rosary, Greystones, Co. Wicklow, after which evening prayer will be recited at 6:00pm, on tomorrow evening, Thursday, February 15th.
Funeral Mass for Mr Gleeson will be celebrated on Friday morning, February 16th at 10:00am, following which he will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife Margaret, in Glenkeen Cemetery, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, arriving at 1:30pm approximately.

Death Of Larry Dowling, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Monday 12th February 2024, of Mr Lawrence (Larry) Dowling, Caherdavin, Co. Limerick and formerly of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Late of Teagasc and pre-deceased by his wife Therese, his son Larry (Jnr) and brother Bill; Mr Dowling passed away peacefully at Cratloe Nursing Home, Cratloe, Co. Clare.

His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his children Mary, Con, Paul and Oonagh, Sarah and her husband Patrick, Hugh, Stephen, Alex, Abi and Anna, son-in-law Robert, daughter-in-law Jane, Paul’s partner, Leslie, sister-in-law Phyllis Kilbride, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Death Of Josie Heffernan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Sunday 11th February 2024, of Mrs Josephine (Josie) Heffernan (née Carrigan), Cashel Road, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, and formerly of Buffana, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband John, brother Jim, sisters Kitty and Maureen; Mrs Heffernan passed away peacefully, while in the presence of her heartbroken family, in the care of staff of Acorn Lodge Nursing Home, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving daughters Ena, Mary and Siobhain, sons-in-law Seamus and Niall, grandchildren Ronan, Conor, Maeve and Grainne, sister Mona (Lyons), nieces, nephews, xtended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Requiem Mass for Mrs Heffernan will be celebrated on Wednesday morning, February 14th, at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Moyglass Cemetery, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Sunday 11th February 2024, of Mrs Josephine (Josie) Quirke (née Feehan), Ballycamas House, Clonoulty, Cashel, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Rathcannon Bridge, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary

Mrs Quirke passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Woodlands Nursing Home, Dundrum, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-Deceased by her husband Phil, her brother Michael and grandson Dillon; the passing of Mrs Quirke is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family; daughter Bridget, sons Paul, Dan, Philip and Maurice, son-in-law Patrick, daughters-in-law, Maureen, Hazel, Sadie and Aisling, sisters Mary, Pat and Margaret, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Her remains will be received into the Church of St John the Baptist, Clonoulty, on Wednesday morning to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in nearby Clonoulty old Cemetery, Clonoulty Churchquarter, Clonoulty, Co. Tipperary.
