It was with great sadness that we learned of the death today, Saturday 30th March 2024, of Mr Michael Croke, Gateway Cottage, Rocklow Road, Fethard, Co. Tipperary and formerly Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his loving brothers John and William; Mr Croke passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at South Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his loving wife Eileen, brother Jeffery, sister’s Nellie, Mary, Celine and Ann, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, stepsons Will and Fergus, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Croke will repose at Brett’s Funeral Home, No 6 Kickham Street, Mullinahone, Thurles, (E41 PR27), on Monday afternoon, April 1st, from 5:00pm with recitation of Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7:00pm same evening. His remains will be received into St Michael’s Church, Kickham Street, Mullinahone, Thurles, on Tuesday morning, April 2nd, at 11:30am, to further for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in St Michael’s Cemetery, Killaghy, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death on Thursday 28th March 2024 of Mrs Kathleen Heffernan (née Barrett), Cherrymount, Clonmel, Co.Tipperary and late of Ballinure, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her husband Willie and granddaughter Nadine; Mrs Heffernan sadly passed away at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; her loving children Valerie, Majella and William, daughter-in-law Geraldine, grandson Steven and partner Valerie, great-grandson Kyle, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Her remains will be received into the Church of St Mary, Irishtown, Burgagery-Lands West, Clonmel, to further repose for Requiem Mass on Thursday, April 4th, at 12:00 noon, followed, immediately afterwards, by interment in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Back in the early part of July 2022, one of the many tribute bands to play at the two day ‘Liberty Music Festival’ event on Liberty Square in Thurles, Co. Tipperary was “Slippery When Wet”, truly the Ultimate Bon Jovi Tribute Band, featuring the magnificent voice of lead singer Colin (Collie) Brophy, which drew a crowd of over 2000 people into the area. The Ultimate Bon Jovi Tribute Band, which is being eagerly awaited to appear between Saturday afternoon, July 6th, 2024, and Sunday afternoon, July 7th, 2024 inclusive, sadly will return, but without Mr Collie Brophy.
On Tuesday last, we were saddened to hear of the passing of Mr Brophy, while in the care of Medical 1, Pine Ward, University Hospital, Waterford. Beloved son of Cormac and the late Margo, the passing of Mr Brophy is sadly missed by his daughter Abbie, aunts Marie and Nan, uncle Anto, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

The earthly remains of the much loved singer and musician will repose at R. Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Rathnapish, Co. Carlow on Saturday afternoon from 4:00pm until 7:00pm same evening. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Easter Sunday at 10:00am in St. Joseph’s Church, Tinryland, Co. Carlow. (R93 TH22), followed thereafter by interment in the adjoining graveyard.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death on Wednesday 27th March 2024 of Mr Patrick (Paddy) Ryan, Fortfield Road, Terenure, D6W, and formerly of Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents, baby brother Con and sisters Anna and Sr. Maureen (Mercy Order, Callan); Mr Ryan passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff of St. James’s Hospital, Dublin 8.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; his loving wife Carmel, daughters Fiona and Siobhán, sons Conor and Thomas, son-in-law Frank, brother Willie, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours, former colleagues in Bank of Ireland, and friends from Rockwell Collage and Newlands Golf Club.

Pre-deceased by his parents John and Alice, his brothers Paddy and John, and sister Maureen; Mr Power passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at his place of residence.
His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sorrowing family, his wife Bridget, his children Alice, Gerard, Liam, Maria and Majella, brother Michael, sisters Ailish (Carey), Noreen (Walsh), Kathleen (Crosse) and Lily (Neary), grandchildren Emily, Muireann and Daire, James and Richard, Shane and Aideen, Moya and Ali and Doireann, son-in-law Damian, daughters-in-law Mary and Breda, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends, especially Betty.
