Death Of Josie Heffernan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Sunday 11th February 2024, of Mrs Josephine (Josie) Heffernan (née Carrigan), Cashel Road, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, and formerly of Buffana, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband John, brother Jim, sisters Kitty and Maureen; Mrs Heffernan passed away peacefully, while in the presence of her heartbroken family, in the care of staff of Acorn Lodge Nursing Home, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving daughters Ena, Mary and Siobhain, sons-in-law Seamus and Niall, grandchildren Ronan, Conor, Maeve and Grainne, sister Mona (Lyons), nieces, nephews, xtended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Heffernan will repose at her residence Cashel Road, Killenaule, (E41 F430), tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday, February 13th, from 4:00pm until 7:30pm before being received into the Church of St. Mary, Bailey Street, Killenaule, Thurles at 8:00pm, same night.
Requiem Mass for Mrs Heffernan will be celebrated on Wednesday morning, February 14th, at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Moyglass Cemetery, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Josie Quirke, Clonoulty, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Sunday 11th February 2024, of Mrs Josephine (Josie) Quirke (née Feehan), Ballycamas House, Clonoulty, Cashel, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Rathcannon Bridge, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary

Mrs Quirke passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Woodlands Nursing Home, Dundrum, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-Deceased by her husband Phil, her brother Michael and grandson Dillon; the passing of Mrs Quirke is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family; daughter Bridget, sons Paul, Dan, Philip and Maurice, son-in-law Patrick, daughters-in-law, Maureen, Hazel, Sadie and Aisling, sisters Mary, Pat and Margaret, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Quirke, will repose at Hayes’ Funeral Chapel, Clonoulty, Cashel on Tuesday afternoon, February 13th, from 5:00pm until 7:30pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Church of St John the Baptist, Clonoulty, on Wednesday morning to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in nearby Clonoulty old Cemetery, Clonoulty Churchquarter, Clonoulty, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Mary Delaney, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Saturday 10th February 2024, of Mrs Mary (Pat) Delaney (née Cahill), Ennis Rd, Ballinacragga, Newmarket-on-Fergus, Co. Clare and formerly of Fishmoyne, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mrs Delaney passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at Ennis General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her heartbroken family, husband William, son Eamonn, daughter Siobhán, daughter-in-law Sinéad, son-in-law Keith, brothers Tom and Seán, sisters Ann, Jo and Kathleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Delaney will repose at Mc Mahons Funeral Home, Newmarket On Fergus, on Tuesday evening, February 13th, from 6:00pm until 7:30pm.
Her remains will be received into the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, Newmarket On Fergus, to further repose for Requiem Mass on Wednesday February 14th, at 11:00am, followed by a private family cremation service.

Death Of Breda Croke, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today, Sunday 11th February 2024, of Mrs Breda Croke (née Penders), late of Monadreen, Thurles Co. Tipperary and formerly of Curraheen, Horse and Jockey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

In her 90th year, and pre-deceased by her husband Patrick and baby son Paul; Mrs Croke passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family; sons Michael and Brian, daughters Dolores (Fortune), Martina (Ryan) and Sharon (Kenny), grandchildren David, Mark, Nicole, Ayesha, Luke, Shane, Jessica and Patrick (Patrick’s mother Rebecca), daughter-in-law Christene, Brian’s partner Shelley, sons-in-law Donal, Kevin and Tony, brothers-in-law George and Garrett, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, good neighbours and friends.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, Today Sunday 11th February 2024, of Mr James (Jim) Cantwell, Ballypatrick, Bouladuff, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his brothers Tony, Mick and Thomas, sisters Sadie and Annie; Mr Cantwellpassed away peacefully at his place of residence surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his family; loving wife Biddy, daughters Catherine (Quish), Nora (Ryan), Ann, Mary (McLoughlin) and Bridget (Corrigan), sons Thomas and Michael, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours, carers and many friends.

Tipperary.
