Death Of Sr. Carmel Ryan, Late Of Thurles, Co Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Sunday last, 9th April 2023, of Sr. Carmel Ryan, Presentation Sisters, Youghal, Co. Cork and late of Holycross, Thurles, Co Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her brothers Patrick, Mick, Fr. Jack, Jim and her sister Peg; Sr. Carmel passed away peacefully, at Apree Living, Ballinore Rd, Conna, Co. Cork, on Easter Day last.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving sister Nora, brothers Tom and Joe, nephews, nieces, Presentation Community, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Sr. Carmel will repose at Egan’s Funeral Home, Greencloyne, Youghal, Co. Cork on Friday afternoon, April 14th from 4:00pm until 6:00pm.
Her remains will be received into the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, The Strand, Williamstown, Youghal, Co. Cork to further repose for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon on Saturday next, April 15th, followed by interment afterwards in North Abbey Cemetery, Youghal, Co Cork.

For those persons who are unable to attend the funeral service for Sr. Carmel, same can be viewed, streamed live online HERE.

Death Of Kitty Ryan, Late Of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Monday 6th March 2023, of Mrs Mary Catherine (Kitty) Ryan (née Cantwell), Fairview, Dublin and late of Knockroe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

In her 104th year, and pre-deceased by her husband Timmie, sister Nell and brother Tony, Mrs ryan passed away peacefully, while in the loving care of her family and staff at Beechlawn Nursing Home, High Park Estate, Grace Park Road, Drumcondra, Co. Dublin.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her daughters Mary, Anna, sons Willie and Vincent, grandchildren John, Maria, Catherine, Robert, Paul, Eoin, Anthony, Aoife, Ella and Bence, great-grandchildren Ryan, Archie, Ailia, Joey, Abigail, Órla, Mia, Maisy, Max, Naevia, Eloise, Evie and Cooper sons-in-law Ken and Pete, daughters-in-law Thérèse and Ruth, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Ryan will repose at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, Fairview, Dublin 3, on Thursday afternoon, March 9th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening, with family in attendance.
Her remains will be received into the Church of the Visitation, Fairview Strand, Fairview, Dublin, on Friday morning, March 10th at 11:15am, to further repose for Requiem Mass, followed by interment in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, St Fintan’s Crescent, Sutton North, Co. Dublin.

Death Of Kathleen Ryan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Friday 2nd December 2022, of Mrs Kathleen Ryan (née Fennessy), Glenreigh, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her father Michael; Mrs Ryan passed away peacefully, following a long illness most bravely borne, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her husband Timmie, daughter Lisa, sons Alan, Timothy and Eamonn, partners of the latter Tracy, Sara and Megan, mother Chrissy, grandsons Dylan and Joey, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, uncles, aunts, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Ryan will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Sunday evening, December 4th, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
Her body will be received into the former Cistercian Abbey Church at Holycross, Thurles, on Monday morning, December 5th, at 11:00am to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Death Of Christy Ryan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday, 3rd September, 2022, of Mr Christopher (Christy) Ryan, Loughisle, Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Martin and Winifred, his brothers Mick, John, Larry, Martin, Dan and Joe; Mr Ryan passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Milbrae Lodge Nursing Home, Newport, Co. Tipperary.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving sisters Anne (Dublin), Sheila (Rostrevor) and Mary (London), brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mr Ryan will repose tomorrow evening, Monday, September 5th, from 6:00pm, at McCormack’s Funeral Home, Kilcommon, Thurles, before being received into the Church of St. Patrick, Kilcommon, Thurles at 8:00pm.
Requiem Mass for Mr Ryan will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 11:30am, followed by burial immediately afterwards in nearby Kilcommon new Cemetery,

Death Of Joe Coman, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, today, Thursday, 1st September, 2022, of Mr Joe Coman, Ballygammane, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his infant son David, brothers Jimmy, John and Justin; Mr Coman passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his devoted wife Maureen, daughter Anne Marie, sons Donnacha and Brian, grandchildren Emily, Sean, Kayla, Rian and Bree, son-in-law Ger, daughters-in-law Emily and Sarah, brother Paddy, sister Mary (Cummins), nephews, nieces, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, extended relatives, great neighbours and many friends.

His body will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Saturday morning, September 3rd at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am.
Interment will take place immediately after Mass in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
