It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 12th March 2023, of Mr Patrick Power, No.7 McDonagh Terrace, Mitchel Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Portlaw, Co. Waterford.
Pre-deceased by his wife Breda, his brothers and sisters; Mr Power (Cheesty), passed away while in the care of staff at the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Castlemeadows, Gortataggart, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, Joan (Lawlor), Andy, Patrick, Eileen (Quinlan) and Mary, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law Linda and Lynn, son-in-law John, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, special friend Frances, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Power will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Thurles, on Tuesday afternoon, March 14th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening; before being received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles at 7:45pm.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday Morning, March 15th, at 11:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
