Death Of Nuala Stakelum, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Monday 9th January 2023, of Mrs Nuala Stakelum (née Collier), Loyola, Clongour, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Templetuohy, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her parents May and Tom and her brother Tom; Mrs Stakelum (who had recently celebrated her 90th birthday with family and friends), passed away peacefully, following a short illness, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving family; her devoted husband Gerry, daughters Marie and Pauline, grandchildren Ciara, Niamh and James, son-in-law Nicky, sisters Margaret and Marie, brothers Denis and Jim, nephews, nieces, god-children, sister-in-law Bridget, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Stakelum will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Thursday evening next January 12th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
Her remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Friday morning, January 13th, at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
