It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death today, Sunday 24th April, 2022, of Mrs Phyllis Scally (née Slater), Ballycurrane, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Philadelphia, USA.
Pre-deceased by her parents Leroy and Mary; Mrs Scally passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at Ardeen Nursing Home, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her devoted husband Eugene, sister Nancy, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, cousin Judy, extended relatives, the Ardeen Nursing Home community, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Scally will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Tuesday evening, April 26th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
A funeral service will be held at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 27th, at 12:00 noon, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
For the many persons who would have liked to have attended the funeral service for Mrs Scally, but are unable to do so, due to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic; same can be viewed online HERE.
