Death Of Breda Callanan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 10th February 2022 of Mrs Breda Callanan (née O’Brien), Collins Park, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Longford Pass, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her sisters Peggy, Mary and her brother Paddy; Mrs Callanan passed away peacefully following a short illness.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving family; husband Willie, daughters Ann Marie and Carol, sons James and John, grandchildren Liam, Cillian, Jamie, Steven, Calum, Grace, Kaitlyn, Evan, Abi and Laurence, sons-in-law William (McDonagh) and Lar (Mackey), daughters-in-law Irene and Valerie, sister Nora (Barrett), brothers Seamus and Sean, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, great neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Callanan will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on tomorrow evening, Saturday, February 12th, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, before beng received into the Church of St. Brigid & St. Joseph, Bothar-na-Naomh, Thurles, at 8:00pm.
Requiem Mass will be held on Sunday morning, February 13th, at 10:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Two-Mile-Borris Cemetery, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mrs Callanan, but are unable to do so, due to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic; same can be viewed online HERE.

[NB: Due to Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending Requiem Mass will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing, face covering, with no hand shaking.]
