The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) have urgently recalled a batch of “Donnybrook Fair” Tipperary Brie, [pack size:155g; approval number: IE 1089 EC] due to the presence of E. Coli.

The FSAI are warning customers not to eat the implicated batch, as E. coli, at the levels detected indicate a possible hygiene issue and the potential for the presence of harmful bacteria which could result in severe stomach cramps, diarrhoea, and vomiting.
The use-by date of of the product is 17/11/2021.
Manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, caterers & retailers, are requested to remove the implicated batch from sale immediately.
A notice posted on the FSAI website reads: “The above batch of Donnybrook Fair Tipperary Brie is being recalled due to the presence of E. coli. Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores supplied with the implicated batch.
