Death Of Mary Sheehy, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness and regret that we learned of the death, on Monday September 6th 2021, of Mrs Mary Sheehy (née Crosse), The Glebe, Cooleeney, Moyne, Thurles, Co. Tipperary; formerly Killoran, Moyne, Thurles Co. Tipperary and Aughnagamaun, Moycarkey, Thurles Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her sister Josephine (Ryall) and brother Thomas; Mrs Sheehy passed away peacefully following a short illness, borne with great dignity and while under the care of staff at Waterford University Hospital.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving family; husband Denis, daughters Catherine (Foy), Margaret (Wright) and Mary Ellen (Brolan), adored grandchildren Thomás, Mairead, Mairi, Bill and Denis, sons-in-law Tom, John and Joe, sisters Bridget (Doherty) and Peggy (Coman), brothers Jerry and Willie, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law Mary and Jane, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Sheehy will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on tomorrow evening, Thursday September 9th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
Her body will be received into St. Mary’s Church, Moyne, Thurles on Friday morning, September 10th, at 11:00am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in Cooleeney cemetery Moyne, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended the funeral service for Mrs Sheehy, but are unable to do so, due to current virus restrictions; same can be viewed online HERE.

[NB: Due to Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing and face covering.]
