It was with great sadness and regret that we learned of the death, on Thursday 1st April 2021, of Mr James (Jim) Kinane, Stawell, Victoria, Australia; formerly of Gurtnahalla, Upperchurch, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, Lanespark & Dublin.
Preceded in death by his parents Philip & Sarah (nee Ryan), his brother John (Lanespark), Mai (Lattin), Lil (Ballynonty), Anne (Canada) and Sarah (Gurtnahalla), nephews Vincent (Clonmel) and Michael (Lattin) and granddaughter Amy (Melbourne); Mr Kinane, [aged 92, born 7th June 1929, at Gurtnahalla, Upperchurch,] passed away, peacefully, on April 1st 2021 in Stawell, latter situated in the Wimmera region of Victoria, 237 kilometres (147 mls) west-north-west of the state capital, Melbourne.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Marie of 65 years, his loving family Myriam, Paulette, Philip, Robert and their families, sister Rita (Canada), nephews, nieces, cousins, 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.
A kind and gentle man now at rest.
