Death Of Malachy Cullagh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary

It was with sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 12th September 2020, of Mr Malachy Cullagh, Kevin’s Park, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by his wife Joan, daughter Caroline and grandson Joseph; Mr Cullagh passed away peacefully, following a short illness, while in the care of the staff at South Tipperary General Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his sons Joseph, Malachy (Mel), Gregory, Alan, Declan and Adrian; daughters Dorothy and Carmel; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sister Mary (O’Meara); sister-in-law Pauline; nephews; nieces; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.

Requiescat in Pace.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Cullagh will repose in Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Monday, 14th September, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm (Strict adherence to social distancing and face coverings are essential).
His body will arrive at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, on Tuesday morning, 15th September, for Requiem Mass at 11:00am.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Thurles.
[Note: Due to government restrictions numbers attending are limited within the Cathedral building.]
