We stated yesterday on Thurles.info, that we believed the number of new cases of the Covid-19 virus, shown for the county of Tipperary, were somewhat inaccurate and understated.
This is confirmed this evening; with the number of virus cases confirmed here in the Premier County; (as at midnight on Tuesday, April 28th last), have now increased from 370 to 415, with a troubling 45 new cases, now confirmed over a 24 hour period.

The Department of Health has confirmed this evening that a further 43 people have tragically died from the Covid-19 virus, here in the Republic of Ireland. These latest figures bring the death toll, from this pandemic, to 1,232.
A total of 359 new cases of the coronavirus have also today, been identified here in the Republic, bringing the total since conception to 20,612.
