New X-Ray Facility For Our Lady’s Hospital Cashel

HSELocal Thurles doctors will once again be able to refer their patients, those requiring X-Rays, to Our Lady’s Hospital, Cashel by the end of January 2013.

This welcome information comes following the announcement by the HSE that a new €100,000 state-of-the-art X-Ray machine will now be installed at this hospital, with immediate effect.

Presently non-urgent patients are being placed on waiting lists, leading to a three months delay in South Tipperary General, while X-Ray machinery at Our Lady’s Hospital, Cashel continued to remain out of action, latter due to the unavailability of some spare parts.

The minor injuries clinic in Cashel will now be again fully restored, thus preventing local patients from having to travel longer distances to Clonmel & Waterford for necessary treatment.
