It is with sadness that we learned of the death today, Saturday 8th June 2019, of Mr Liam Maher, Thornhill, Sligo Town, Co. Sligo; formerly; Athlone, Co. Westmeath and Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Maher passed away peacefully, while in the care of Sligo University Hospital.
Predeceased by his son Fergal; his passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Kathleen; son Shane; daughter Rosario; grandchildren Cian, Katie, Sophie, Conor and David; sisters Marie, Edith and Pauline; brother Sean; son-in-law Fergal; daughter-in-law Lorraine; brothers-in-law; sisters in law; nephews; nieces; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.
Requiescat in Pace.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Maher will lie in repose at the Nazareth House Chapel, Church Hill, Sligo from 5:30pm on Monday evening next, June 10th, with prayer liturgy at 7:30pm.
Mass of Christian burial will take place on Tuesday morning, June 11th, at 11:30am in the Nazareth House Chapel; followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Strandhill Rd, Rathedmond, Scarden, Co. Sligo.
