A young man, believed to be in his early 20’s, has lost his life in a road traffic accident here in Co Tipperary.
The collision happened on the N24 at Ballingarrane, on the Clonmel to Cahir road in Co Tipperary, at about 8.00pm last night; between a car and a truck.
The driver of the car; named locally as Mr Jake Anderson, from Fernville, Clerihan, Clonmel, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the truck remained uninjured.
The roadway at the scene of this accident remains closed to facilitate an examination of the area by Garda forensic collision investigators, and diversions remain currently in place.
