It was with sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Wednesday 16th January 2019, of Mr Patrick (Patsy) Cahill, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath and formerly of Glengoole, New Birmingham, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Cahill passed away peacefully following a short illness, while in the loving care of staff at Mullingar Regional Hospital and Portnicula Nursing Home, Multyfarnham, Co. Westmeath.
Beloved husband of the late Julianne; Mr Cahill is survived by his loving daughter Ciara; son Elroy and sister Kathryn. His passing is most deeply regretted by his family; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Cahill will lie in repose at Egan’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary on tomorrow evening, Friday 18th January 2019, from 5.30pm with removal at 7.30 to the church of St. Patrick & St. Oliver, Glengoole, New Birmingham, Thurles, (travelling the route via Mary Willies).
Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday morning, January 19th 2019, at 11.30am followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
