Death Of Tom Kirwan, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death on Thursday 20th June 2024 of Mr Tom Kirwan, Tyone, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Horse and Jockey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

In his 95th year and pre-deceased by his beloved wife Rita, brothers Paddy Martin Jimmy, John and Stephen, sisters Winnie, Nell and Nancy; Mr Kirwan passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Rivervale Nursing Home, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; Martin, Tom, Elaine and Ruth, son-in-law Gerry Reynolds, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Kirwan will repose on Sunday evening, June 23rd, at Ryan’s Funeral Home Knockanpierce, Nenagh (E45 KN93), from 6:00pm until 7:30pm.
His remains will be received into the Church of St Mary of the Rosary, Church Road, Nenagh, on Monday morning, June 24th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Lisboney Cemetery, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.

The extended Kirwan family would like to acknowledge the exceptional care and attention that the late Mr Kirwan received from a kind and caring staff at Medical 1, Nenagh Hospital and from the staff at Rivervale Nursing Home.
