It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Friday 22nd December 2023 of Mr James (Jim) Browne, Gortataggart, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Brocka, Ballycahill, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by parents, brothers and sisters; Mr Browne passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by Joan, Mark, Ashley and Christian, his sister Betty, brother Michael and his sister-in-law Marie, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Browne will repose at Dan Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Upper Kickham Street, Dublin Road, Thurles on Wednesday afternoon, December 27th, from 5:00pm until 6:30pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, on Thursday morning at 11:00am, to further repose for Requiem Mass, followed by interment in Rossmore cemetery, Rossmore, Co. Tipperary.
