Death Of Richard McCormack, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Wednesday 8th March 2023, of Mr Richard McCormack, (former member of the defence forces) No. 23 Ard Glass, Monaghan Town, Co Monaghan and formerly of Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Patrick and Mary and his sister Maura (Carey); Mr McCormack passed away peacefully at Blackwater House, St. Davnet’s Campus, Roosky, Co. Monaghan.

His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Bridget, brothers John and Patsy, sisters Kathleen, Jojo and Bernie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr McCormack will repose at McElvaney Funeral home, Church Square, Tirkeenan, Co. Monaghan on Wednesday afternoon, March 8th from 5:00pm until 8:00pm same evening, and on Thursday afternoon, March 8th from 5:00pm until 8:00pm same evening.

His remains will be received into St. Macartan’s Cathedral, No. 20-26 Old Armagh Rd, Latlorcan, Co. Monaghan on Friday morning at 10:30am, to further repose for Funeral Mass at 11:00am.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in nearby St. Joseph’s New cemetery, Latlurcan, Monaghan.
