It was with a great personal sadness that I learned of the death today, Thursday 8th September 2022, of Mrs Peg Hughes (née Guidera), Ballyspellan, Johnstown, Co. Kilkenny, and formerly of Kyledellig, Clough, Ballacolla, Co. Laois.
In her 103rd year and pre-deceased by her husband Danny; the passing of Mrs Hughes is most deeply regretted by her sorrowing son Donal, daughter Helen (Cullinane), grandchildren Daniel, Marion (Lawlor), Jack, Niamh, Maria and Cillian, great-grandaughter Róisín, daughter-in-law Maura (Purcell), son-in-law Eddie, Marion’s husband Johnny, Daniels partner Patricia, her son Logan, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Requiescat in Pace.
Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Hughes will repose at her place of residence from 2:00pm on Friday afternoon, with Rosary at 9:00pm.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St. Kieran’s Church, Main Street, Johnstown, Co. Kilkenny, on Saturday morning at 11:00am, followed by interment in Johnstown Cemetery, Co. Kilkenny.
