Death Of Anna Byrne, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 26th March 2022, of Mrs Anna Byrne (née Jordan), Church View, Bohernanave, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband Patrick, brothers Jerry, Swaney, Paddy, Jimmy, Tommy and Paul, her sisters Mary and Kathleen; Mrs Byrne passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Fennor Hill Care Facility, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving family, sisters Patsy and Phyllis, brothers Junior and Michael, god-daughter Louise, nephews, nieces, brother-in-law Joe, sister-in-law AnnMarie, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Byrne will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, on Tuesday evening, March 29th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, before being received into the Church of St. Joseph & Brigid, Bothar-na-Naomh, Thurles, at 7:45pm.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning, March 30th, at 10:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mrs Byrne, but are unable to do so, due to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic; same can be viewed online HERE.

[NB: Due to Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending Requiem Mass will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing, face covering, with no hand shaking.]
