Death Of Jim O’Mahony, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Saturday 29th January 2022. of Mr Jim O’Mahony, Carrigaline, Co. Cork and formerly of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his sister Deirdre Fitzgibbon (Thurles); Mr O’Mahony passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Cork University Hospital.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary, son John, daughter-in-law Valerie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr O’Mahony will repose at Denis Forde & Sons Funeral Home, Old Waterpark, Carrigaline, Co. Cork on Monday evening next, January 31st, from 5:00pm until 6:00pm.
His body will be received into Church of Our Lady and St. John, Carrigaline, to further repose for Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning, February 1st, at 10.30am.
Cremation will take place immediately afterwards at the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Spike Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork

[NB: Due to Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending Requiem Mass will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing, face covering, with no hand shaking.]
