Death Of Edward O’Dwyer, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Friday 26th November 2021, of Mr Edward O’Dwyer, formerly of Kincora Terrace, Brittas Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by his parents Tom and Mary, his beloved brother and sister Michael and Ann (Gleeson) and sister-in-law Margaret: Mr O’Dwyer passed away peacefully in the care of staff at Wexham Park Hospital, London.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his sister Mary (McNamara, Couraganeen), brother Tommy, also Catherine and Tom, devoted niece Marian, brothers-in-law Ollie and Joe, sister-in-law Joan, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, best friend Jimmy, all at the Riverside Social Club, U.K. and Brennans Pub (Thurles).

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr O’Dwyer will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Thurles on Saturday evening, December 11th, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm, before arriving at the Cathedral of the Assumption Cathedral Street, Thurles, at 8:00pm, to further repose for Requiem Mass on Sunday Morning, December 12th, at 11:00am.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mr O’Dwyer, but are unable to do so; same can be viewed online HERE.

[NB: Due to Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending Requiem Mass will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing, face covering, with no hand shaking.]
