Death Of Bridie Walsh, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 17th November 2021, of Ms Bridget (Bridie) Walsh, Cahir Abbey Upper, Cahir, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Ard Mhuire, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her parents Richard and Madge, Ms Walsh passes away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Ardeen Nursing Home, Thurles.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving family; brother Eamonn, sisters Maureen, Margaret, Teresa, Nora and Anne, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law Tom and John, cousins, the Ardeen community, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Ms Walsh will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Friday evening, November 19th, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, before being received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles at 8:00pm.
Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday morning, November 20th, at 11:00am, followed immediately afterwards by interment in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Ms Walsh, but are unable to do so, due to current virus restrictions; same can be viewed online HERE.

[NB: Due to Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending the Memorial Mass will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing and face covering.]
