Beware Of Latest Fraudulent Email Practice.

Readers are being asked to beware of the latest fraudulent practice of being sent emails by criminals; same purporting to be from possible reputable companies, in order to induce individuals to reveal personal information, such as credit card numbers.

Same email, as in the example shown hereunder, are a phishing scam and should be immediately deleted.

A hyperlinked message supposedly [data that the user can follow by clicking or tapping], sent by Jettimail.co.uk newsletter@news.jettimail.co.uk, received by some people today reads: –

“We have a package on pause belonging to the following email address: [Your actual email address is shown]. e.g. paddyryan1@gmail.com.

There are some further instructions required in order to proceed with delivery.


The items is marked as heavy with contents listed as a 32″ TCL. [Telephone Communication Limited, a Chinese state-owned enterprise and multinational electronics company headquartered in Huizhou, which designs, develops, manufactures and sells products including television sets, mobile phones, air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators and small electrical appliances.]

You have received this e-mail because you participated in one or more of their user surveys in the last six months and you have won one of their prizes.

You are kindly requested to enter your address and pay for the delivery cost of £1. Please supply ADDRESS & CONFIRMATION. “

This above named website has existed for quite some years:- Registered on: 31-Mar-2014. Expiry date: 31-Mar-2021. Last updated: 30-Mar-2019, according to WHOIS today.
