Death Of Margaret Fitzgerald, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death today, Friday 5th February 2021, of Mrs Margaret Fitzgerald (née Lonergan), of Fitzgerald’s Bar, Lord Edward Street, Kilmallock, Co. Limerick and formerly of Galbertstown, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mrs Fitzgerald passed away peacefully while in the care of staff of University Hospital Limerick and cared for by staff of Ard na Rí Nursing Home, Bruff, Co. Limerick.

Predeceased by her parents Ellen and Thomas, brothers Pat, Tom and John; her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving husband Michael, loving siblings John, Maria and Aine, daughter-in-law, Maria, adored grandchildren Ella and Alice, sisters Eileen, Alice, Mary and Sr. Catherine, brothers Lar and Mick, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

On Sunday afternoon next, February 7th, at 1:30pm the funeral cortége, bearing the earthly remains of Mrs Fitzgerald will leave Daffy’s Funeral Home, Kilmallock, Co. Limerick; travelling via Emmett Street; the New Road; through Lord Edward Street, before passing her place of residence to enable her friends to pay their respects.
Her body will later repose for Requiem Mass at the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, Kilmallock, Co. Limerick, at 2.00pm, followed immediately afterwards by interment in the local graveyard.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mrs Fitzgerald, but are unable to do so, due to the current coronavirus pandemic; same funeral service can be viewed online HERE.
