Killer Covid-19 Virus Growth Rate Places Ireland Third Highest Amongst EU Member States

This evening, figures from the Department of Health confirm that there has been sadly 3 new deaths caused by the Covid-19 pandemic; leaving the overall death toll here in the Republic of Ireland remaining at 1,787.

However, there are 357 new additional cases reported today, leaving the current total number of confirmed cases, since conception in the Irish Republic, at 31,549, with one case denotified.

Of today’s confirmed cases, 5 are located in Co. Tipperary (743 cases in total to date); 218 in Dublin (So much for the right to protest and the right of free speech with cases in total now at 14,665), 18 in Louth; 12 in Waterford; 11 in Kildare; 9 in Cork; 8 each in Kerry, Limerick and Meath; 7 in Westmeath; 6 in Wicklow; 5 in Offaly; 5 each in Roscommon and Mayo. The remaining 32 cases are located in counties Carlow; Cavan; Clare; Donegal; Galway; Kilkenny; Laois; Leitrim; Monaghan; Sligo and Wexford.
