Covid-19 Update: Wed. 8th July 2020 – 11 New Cases

The total number of Covid-19 virus cases confirmed here in Co. Tipperary; stands currently at 543, with 1 new case identified.

This evening, the Department of Health has confirmed that there have been zero deaths caused by this pandemic, while four deaths have been de-notified, bringing the overall death toll here in the Republic to 1,738.

However, there were 11 new additional cases reported to the Department of Health, leaving the current total number of confirmed cases since conception at 25,542, with seven cases being de-notified.

Dublin Virus cases now stand at 12,263 (7 cases denotified since July 5th), with Kildare at 1,499 (up 5 since July 5th), Meath 812 (up 3 since July 5th), Cork 1543 (up 2 since July 5th), and Wicklow 698.

Latest figures from the Department of Health show that over 862,000 people have downloaded the new Covid Tracker, launched yesterday.
