It is with sadness we learned of the death today, Sunday 17th November 2019, of Mr Christy Scott, Egmont View, Churchtown, Mallow, Co. Cork and late of Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Scott, (retired Battalion Quartermaster Sergeant, 4th Battalion Collins Barrack, Co. Cork), passed away peacefully, while in the care of Marymount Hospice, Co. Cork.
The passing of Mr Scott is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Eileen (nee Murphy); daughter Linda (Fitzgibbon); son Christopher; brothers Johnny and Willie; son-in-law Thomas; daughter-in-law Marie; grandchildren Lauren, Alex, Robyn, Jack, Scott, Laya and CJ; brother-in-law; sisters-in-law; nephews; nieces; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Scott will lie in repose at O’Keeffe’s Funeral Home, Bank Place, Main Street, Buttevant, Co.Cork, on Monday November 18th with Rosary at 7:00pm and on Tuesday November 19th, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, followed by removal to St Nicholas’ Church, Churchtown, Co. Cork.
Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday November 20th, at 12:30pm, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the nearby local cemetery.
