It was with great personal sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Tuesday 20th November 2018, of Mr Denis Callanan, Borroway, Thurles Co. Tipperary and formerly Cathedral Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by his wife Margo; sons Thomas and A.J.; his passing is most deeply regretted by his loving daughters Helen, Rita, Siobhán, Kate, Mary and Yvonne; sons-in-law Sean, Bill and Ollwier; his 14 adoring grandchildren; brothers Jim, Dick, Paddy, Thomas and Eamon; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nephews; nieces; extended relatives; neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Callanan will lie in repose at Egan’s Funeral Home, Lognafulla, Dublin Rd, Thurles, Co. Tipperary on tomorrow, Thursday evening, November 22nd, from 3.00pm to 7.00pm, to arrive at the Cathedral of The Assumption, Thurles at 7.30pm.
Funeral Mass will take place on Friday morning, November 23rd, at 11.00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Killinan Cemetery, Killinan Cross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
