It is with great sadness we learned of the death today, Saturday 23rd July 2016 of Mr Luke Griffin, Bishopstown, Co. Cork and former retired Supervisor at Thurles Textile Factory (Phoenix Yarns), Slievenamon Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Beloved husband of Maura (née O’Leary); Mr Griffin passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family; sons (including Arthur Thurles); daughter-in-law Bridie (Thurles); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; relatives and many friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Griffin will repose at the Jerh. O’Connor Bros Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road, Wilton, Co. Cork on Monday, with removal at 7.30pm to the Church of the Real Presence, Curraheen Road, Bishopstown, Co. Cork.
Requiem Mass at 2.00pm on Tuesday, followed by burial immediately afterwards at Rathcooney Cemetery, Glanmire, Co.Cork.
