Thurles Deaths 28th & 29th March 2016

TYNAN

DeathIt was with sadness we learned of the death, yesterday Tuesday 29th March 2016, of M/s Margo (Peg) Tynan, Mill Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

M/s Tynan, in her 91st year, passed away peacefully while in the loving care of the staff of Villa Marie, Roscrea. Her passing is most deeply regretted by her nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of M/s Tynan will repose at Egan’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Thurles tomorrow, Thursday, from 5:00pm. Removal will take place at 7:00pm to the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles, to arrive at 7:30pm.

Requiem Mass on Friday at 11:00am, with interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles.

RYAN

With-sincere-sympathyIt was with sadness we learned of the death, on Monday 28th March 2016, of Mr Pakie Ryan, Dooree, Milestone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly The Line, Shevry, Upperchurch, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

A former Fine Gael member of North Tipperary County Council (later a member of the Lowry Team) and a GAA stalwart, Mr Ryan was predeceased by his wife Maureen.

The loving father of Mary (Maher), Josephine (McGuire), Michael and Gerry; his passing is deeply regretted by his family, sons-in-law Eamon and P.J., daughters-in-law Bridget and Kathleen, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother Tommy, sister Chris, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Ryan will repose at O’Dwyer’s Funeral Home, Upperchurch, today Wednesday from 5:00pm with removal at 8:00pm to the Sacred Heart Church, Upperchurch, Thurles.

Requiem Mass will be held on Thursay at 11:30am, followed by burial immediately afterwards in the local cemetery.

O’MEARA

deathIt was with sadness we learned of the death, yesterday 29th March 2016, of Very Rev. Denis Canon O’Meara, Killoscully, Newport, Co. Tipperary, formerly Parish Priest of Moycarkey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Peacefully in the loving care of Nora and her staff at Beechwood House Nursing Home, Newcastlewest, Co Limerick; his passing is most deeply regretted by his loving niece Margaret, nephews John and Jimmy, extended family, relatives, cousins and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements
His earthly remains will repose at Meehan’s Funeral Home, Newport, Co. Tipperary, today, Wednesday, from 6:00pm, with removal at 7:30pm to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Killoscully, Co Tipperary.

Requiem Mass will be held tomorrow Thursday at 12:00 noon, with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

MOYNIHAN

DeathIt was with sadness we learned of the death, on Tuesday 29th March 2016, of M/s Ellen Moynihan, Matthew Bourke House, Templemore Road, and formerly No 3 Ikerrin Road, Thurles, Tipperary

Deeply regretted by her loving brother Martin, sisters Philomena, Annie and Treasa, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of M/s Moynihan will repose at Egan’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Thurles on Friday April 1st, 2016, from 4:30pm to 6:30pm; arriving at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles at 7:00pm.

Requiem Mass will be held on Saturday, April 2nd, 2016, at 11:00am, with burial immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
