Army bomb disposal experts have made safe an improvised explosive device discovered yesterday morning outside a house in Tipperary Town.
The device was found on the footpath outside a house at Greenane Drive, off St Michael’s Avenue, Tipperary Town, shortly before 5.45am yesterday.
A number of residents had to be evacuated from their homes for a short time.
The remains of the device has now been handed over to Gardaí for further inspection and investigation.
