Catherine & Kevin Wed In Tipperary

Catherine & Kevin take a quiet break, following their wedding in Tipperary earlier today.

The wedding took place today, in brilliant sunshine, of the very lovely Miss Catherine Ryan, daughter of Mrs Marian and Mr Jerome Ryan, Glenough, Rossmore, Thurles, Co Tipperary, to Mr Kevin Cryan, son of Mrs Ann and Mr John Cryan, Main Street, Cappawhite, Co. Tipperary.

The ceremony took place in the local parish Church of Jesus Christ our Saviour, Rossmore, Clonoulty, Thurles, with the marriage presided over by local parish priest Rev. Fr. Tomas Egan.

Escorted down the aisle by her father Jerome, the bride looked stunningly beautiful in an ivory afternoon gown, with hand sewn beaded bodice, and wearing a tiara, embellished with cubic zirconia, in her hair. Equally stunningly beautiful were her accompanying Bridesmaids; Mary Ryan, Siobhán Ryan and Jodie Carberry, all of whom wore full-length fitted coral pink evening gowns, with delicately adorned cross-over bodices.

The groom, Kevin, and his three Groomsmen, Francesco Palumbo, John Ryan and Thomas Carr all looked dashing in black evening suits, white shirts, with grey silk cravats & matching silver grey waist coats.

Also adding to the splendour of the occasion were Flower Girls, Danielle Ryan and Shauna Ryan, together with Pageboys, Master Dylan Cryan & Master Stephan Ryan.

The couple publicly exchanged their love for each other, in front of a large gathering numbering over 200 invited guests, made up of immediate family and close friends.

Scripture readings were undertaken by John Crowe & Catherine Coughlan, while prayers of the faithful were read by Elia Ferrara, Linda Coughlan, Finn O’Brien, Lillian Moore and Tommy Carberry. The Offertory Procession of bread & wine was carried by Siobhán Carberry & Greda O’Sullivan.

Following the marriage ceremony, the new Mr and Mrs Cryan retired to the popular wedding venue and mature Georgian estate that is Dundrum House Hotel & Golf Resort, Dundrum, Thurles, Co Tipperary, where the happy couple & their guests were met by hotel proprietor Deirdre Crowe, before being entertained to Mulled Wine together with other light food & drink refreshments.

Following family photographs in the beautiful manicured woodlands & gardens surrounding the luxurious hotel complex, the newly married couple joined their guests in the hotels main ballroom for dinner, which was followed by dancing late into the evening.

Childhood Sweethearts Declan & Samantha Wed

“The Kiss.”

The wedding took place today, under sunny skies, of the very lovely Miss Samantha Fennelly, daughter of Mrs Shirley and Mr Pat Fennelly, Willowmere Drive, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, to Mr Declan Curtis, son of Mrs Noeleen and Mr Denis Curtis, President Childers Park, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

The marriage took place in the historic Cathedral of The Assumption, Thurles, Co.Tipperary, with the ceremony conducted by local parish priest Rev. Fr. Martin Hayes.

Escorted down the aisle by her father Pat, the bride looked stunningly beautiful in an ivory & lace, v- necked fitted Fishtail afternoon gown with Satin Ruched bodice, embedded with Swarovski Crystals and highlighted by a Puddle Train & Veil.

Equally beautiful were her accompanying bridesmaids, Miss Lisa Morris (Maid of Honour), Miss Carol Irwin & Miss Elaine Gleeson, who all wore full-length, Teal, one shoulder Chiffon evening gowns.

The groom, Declan, and his three groomsmen, Mr Garry Mernagh (BestMan), Mr Noel Morris & Mr Ger O’Grady all looked dashing in Silvery Grey Evening Suits, elegantly highlighted by White Oxford Plain Shirts with Waistcoats and matching Grey & White ties.

Also adding to the splendour of this occasion were Flower Girls & sisters Miss Molly & MissRuby Dwyer, together with Pageboy Master Sean Dwyer & Ring Bearer Master Brian Whelan.

The couple proclaimed their love for each other in front of a large gathering of family and close friends, with a video recording of the day’s events undertaken by Thurles top videographer Mr Pat Corbett.

Following the ceremony, the new Mr and Mrs Curtis retired to the very popular local wedding venue, the Anner Hotel, Thurles, Co.Tipperary, where guests were entertained to a Champagne and Strawberry reception, together with a host of other light refreshments.

Following family photographs in the beautiful manicured gardens adjoining the hotel, the newly married couple joined their guests in the venues main Ballroom for dinner, which was followed by dancing to the music of Johnny B and the Boogie Men, very late into the evening.

The couple have chosen the USA as their favoured honeymoon destination.

Thurles Wedding Of Corrie & Stephen

The wedding took place in brilliant warm sunshine, today, of the very lovely Miss Corrie Ryan, daughter of Mrs Eileen and Mr Phil Ryan, Slievenamon Rd, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, to Mr Stephen Browne, son of Mrs Marie and Mr Michael Browne, Moyne Rd, Thurles, Co Tipperary.

Their marriage took place in the historic Cathedral of The Assumption, Thurles, with the ceremony presided over by Rev. Fr. Philip Barry, (Pallottine Order) a relative of the bride.

Escorted down the aisle by her father Phil, the bride looked stunningly beautiful in a traditional white, full length “Hourglass,” strapless afternoon gown, covered in beaded lace, with “Sweetheart” neckline, fishtail train and wearing fresh flowers as her head piece.

Equally beautiful were her accompanying bridesmaids, Ellen Stakelum and Ailís Browne, who both wore jade green, full-length evening gowns, with pleated bodices & also wearing fresh flower head pieces.

The groom, Stephen, and his groomsmen, William & Paul  Browne, looked dashing in their grey evening suits, elegantly highlighted by white wing collared shirts, cream waist coats & and matching cream silk cravats. Also adding to the splendour of this occasion were Flower Girl Hannah Maher and Pageboy Conor Browne.

Scripture readings were undertaken by Michelle Browne & Philip Ryan, while ‘Prayers of the Faithful,‘ were recited by Ciara Maher, Fiona Browne, Caitriona Cass, Fidelma Coakley, Grace McDonald & Aaron Martin. The traditional ‘Communion Reflection,’ was read by Stiofan Ryan.

The couple expressed their love for each other in front of a large gathering of close family and friends, while music and song for the ceremony were performed by the very talented organist Rachel Cornally, accompanied by superb vocalists Edel Morris & Melanie Butler.

Following the ceremony, the new Mr & Mrs Browne retired to the popular wedding venue, the Anner Hotel, here in Thurles, Co.Tipperary, where guests, on arrival, were met by the manager Mr Michael Cleary, before being entertained to a strawberry & champagne reception, together with other light refreshments.

Templemore Wedding Of Emma & Jer

The wedding took place today of the very lovely Miss Emma Hennessy, daughter of Mrs Ann and Mr Patrick Hennessy, Church Street, Templemore, Thurles, Co. Tipperary to Mr Jer Sweeney, son of Mrs Kathleen and Mr Martin Sweeney,  Marian Road, Templemore, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

The ceremony took place in the local parish Church of The Sacred Heart, Templemore, with the marriage presided over by local parish priest Rev. Fr. Eugene Everard.

Escorted down the aisle by her father Patrick, the bride looked stunningly beautiful in her ivory afternoon gown, displaying an A-line, “Sweetheart” neckline with full length veil. Equally beautiful were her accompanying bridesmaids, Hazel Hennessy & Kerrie Costello who wore full-length, navy  evening gowns, with delicately adorned cross-over waist bands, each embellished by a snowflake design brooch.

The groom, Johnathan, and his two groomsmen, Mr Philip Gleeson & Mr Billy Prout, all looked dashing in their long grey evening suits, elegantly highlighted by white wing collared shirts, with white silk cravats & silver striped waist coats.

Also adding to the splendour of the occasion were Flower Girl, Miss Keira Sweeney together with Pageboys, Master Shane Sweeney & Master Aron Breen.

The couple publicly exchanged their vows in front of a large gathering of family and close friends, while music and song for the ceremony was performed by the very talented Mrs Mary Rose McNally, accompanied by top vocal soloist Mrs Cathy Keane.

Following the ceremony, the new Mr and Mrs Sweeney retired to the popular local wedding venue, The Templemore Arms Hotel, Templemore, Thurles, where the happy couple & their guests were met by hotel proprietor Mr Dan Ward, before being entertained to a champagne and strawberry reception together with other light food & drink refreshments.

Following family photographs in the beautiful manicured gardens of the Templemore Arms, the newly married couple joined their guests in the hotels ‘Belville Suite,’ for dinner, which was followed by dancing very late into the evening.

The wedding took place, in Thurles today, of the very lovely Miss Susan Corcoran, daughter of Mrs Deirdre and Mr John Corcoran, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, to Mr Shane O’Gorman, son of Mrs Eileen and Mr Patrick O’Gorman, Leugh, Thurles, Co Tipperary.

Their marriage took place in the Cathedral of The Assumption, Thurles, with the ceremony presided over by Rev. Fr. Paddy Carley PP, latter formally a native of Iona Avenue, Thurles, and currently Parish Priest at “St Joseph the Worker,” Catholic Church, in the Salt Lake Diocese of Utah State in Western United States.

Escorted down the aisle by her father John, the bride looked stunningly beautiful in a pleated diamond white, silk satin dress with diamante beaded shoulder & laced back, highlighted by a full length ruffled train.

Equally beautiful were her four accompanying bridesmaids, who wore full-length strapless Old Gold Chiffon dresses with Vintage Brocade, & pinned off centre with Pearl Leaf Brooches.

The groom Shane, and his four groomsmen, looked dashing in black evening suits, elegantly highlighted by white wing collared shirts, white silk cravats & silver waist coats.
