Death Of Peggy Kennedy, Late Of Thurles Co. Tipperary

It is with sadness that we learned of the death today, Tuesday 20th October 2020, of Mrs Margaret (Peggy) Kennedy (née Kenny), late of Athy, Co. Kildare; Luton, England; Glengoole, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and Clonoulty, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.

Mrs Kennedy passed away after a short illness; latter borne with great courage and dignity.

Predeceased by her husband John; her passing is most deeply regretted by her children; John, Barry and Kelly; grandchildren Bethany, Michael, Mary, Sean, Maggie, William, Noah, Phoebe and Grace; sisters Anne, Eileen, Kathleen, Josephine, Etty, Carmel, Bridget, Rita, Pauline, Martina, Jacqueline and Angela; brothers Gerard, Richard and John; extended relatives; neighbours and many friends.

Requiescat in Pace.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Kennedy will be removed from Thompson’s Funeral Home, Athy, Co. Kildare, at 10:45am on Saturday morning next, 24th October, to be received into the Church of St. Michael, in Athy, Co. Kildare for Requiem Mass at 11:00am.
[Note: Due to national Public Health Guidelines regarding coronavirus restrictions; attendance within the Church building will be limited to 25 people only, with strict adherence to social distancing and face covering please.]

Funeral cortège will travel from Athy, Co. Kildare to the New Cemetery at Clonoulty, Cashel, Co. Tipperary; estimated time of arrival 1:45pm, for interment.

For the many persons who would have liked to attend Requiem Mass for Mrs Kennedy, but will be unable to do so, due to virus restrictions, same can be viewed online HERE.

    We were heartbroken to hear of Peggy’s passing. She was the best of company and we will remember her with much fondness, always.
