It was with sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Friday 2nd October 2020, of Mrs Alice Gleeson (née Loughnane), No. 12 Ard Mhúire, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by her husband Paddy, son Michael, daughter Biddy, grandson Derek, son-in-law Tim; Mrs Gleeson passed away peacefully at her place of residence, while in the loving care of her family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her daughters Margaret, Eilish and Mary: grandchildren; great grandchildren; sons-in-law Matty and Eoin; daughter-in-law Bridget; nephews; nieces; sisters-in-law; extended relatives; neighbours and many good friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Gleeson will repose privately at her home for family and close friends.
Requiem Mass will be held on Monday morning in the Cathedral of the Assumption at 11:00a.m., followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles.
[Note: Due to HSE and government Covid-19 restrictions, numbers are limited within the Cathedral building. Public are also advised to observe social distancing and the use of face coverings].
