Death Of Richard Ryan, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary

It was with sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Tuesday 22nd September 2020, of Mr Richard Ryan (Bishop), Mount George, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Kennedy Park, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by his mother Kitty and sister Siobhan; Mr Ryan passed away peacefully at his place of residence, after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his father Tommy; sisters Margaret, Maureen and AnnMarie; brothers Jim and Gerard; nephews; nieces; brothers-in-law Mick and Benji; uncles; aunts; cousins; extended relatives; neighbours and many friends.

Requiescat in Pace.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Ryan will repose in Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Friday 25th September from 5:00pm to 7:00pm (Strict adherence to social distancing and face coverings essential).
His body will arrive at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles on Saturday morning, September 26th, for Requiem Mass at 11:00am.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
[Note: Due to government restrictions numbers are restricted within the Cathedral building.]
