Death Of Johnny Corbett, Thurles, Co. Tipperary

It is with sadness we learned of the death today, Saturday 4th July 2020, of Mr John (Johnny) Corbett, No.1 Beechwood Lawns, Thurles and formerly ‘The Spa’, Turraheen, Rossmore, Thurles, Co. Tipperary

Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Annie Mary and his brothers Ned and Bill; the passing of Mr Corbett is most deeply regretted by his loving brothers Mick and Tommy; sisters Mary Anne (Commins), Josephine (Jordan), Nora (Lyons) and Teresa (Droney); brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nephews; nieces; grand-nephews; grand-nieces; uncle Michael (O’Dwyer); aunt-in-law Bridie (O’Dwyer); extended relatives; neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

In keeping with Government and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings, with regard to the Covid-19 virus pandemic; a private family Rosary will take place tomorrow evening, Sunday July 5th, at 8:00pm at Dan Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Thurles.
His earthly remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Monday morning, July 6th, at 10:30am for Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Same will be followed by interment in Rossmore Cemetery, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
