Covid-19 Update: Sat. 4th July 2020 – 1 Death – 11 New Cases

The total number of Covid-19 virus cases confirmed here in Co. Tipperary; remains currently at 542, (reduced by one) with zero cases identified over the previous 9 days.

This evening, the Department of Health has confirmed that 1 death has been caused by Covid-19 in Ireland over the last 24 hours. These latest figures leave the total number of deaths caused by this pandemic at 1,741.

A further 11 additional confirmed cases of coronavirus bring the total number of cases here in the Irish Republic to 25,509.

Rules regarding international travel are expected to be revised fortnightly after July 20th, under plans expected to be considered by the Cabinet on Monday next. A ‘green list’ of countries that are safe to travel to will not be published until current public health advice changes.

Virus cases since conception confirmed in Co. Dublin today stand currently at 12,264; Co. Kildare 1,492; Co. Meath 808; Co. Cavan 864, and Co. Cork 1,540.

Total amount of tests completed in the past 7 days are confirmed at 35,252; with 8,254 tests carried out in the last 24 hours.
