It was with a great personal sadness that I learned of the death yesterday, Thursday 30th April 2020, of Mrs Nancy Stakelum (née Finn), Avondale, Clongour, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs Stakelum passed away peacefully, while in the care of the staff of Acorn Lodge Nursing Home, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by her husband Pat; her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving family; daughters Norah, Mary and Lucy; sons Paraic and Fionn; grandchildren Jack, Catherine, Pat, Claire, Áine, Maeve, Tom, Mark, Emma and Sarah; sister Angela; brother-in-law Gerry; sister-in-law Nuala; sons-in-law Sean and Don; daughters-in-law Dolores and Elaine; nephews; nieces; cousins; extended relatives; neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements
In accordance with government guidelines with regard to the current Covid-19 pandemic and public gatherings; the funeral of Mrs Stakelum will take place in a private, family only setting.
Requiem Mass will be held in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles, attended by family members only, on Monday morning next, May 4th, at 11:00am.
An online, live streaming, funeral Mass, can be viewed HERE, following which Mrs Stakelum will be laid to rest in Holycross Abbey Cemetery.
