It was with sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Sunday 15th December 2019, of Mrs Joan Flynn (née Fitzgibbon), Abbeyquarter, Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo and formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by her husband Tony and granddaughter Maebh; Mrs Flynn passed away peacefully, while in the care of Mayo University Hospital; surrounded by her family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her children Maria, Colm, Kieran, Yvonne, Imelda and Claire; brothers J.J. Fitzgibbon and P.J. Fitzgibbon, sister Imelda Carroll; grandchildren; sons-in-law; daughter-in-law; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Flynn will lie in repose at Gavin’s Funeral Home, Knox Street, Pollnacroaghy, Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo, on tomorrow evening, Tuesday December 17th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.
Arriving to the church of St. Patrick, Carrownluggaun, Ballyhaunis, on Wednesday morning, December 18th, for funeral Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the local cemetery.
