Death Of Fr. Conor Molony formerly of Thurles, Co Tipperary

It was with sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Thursday 5th September 2019, of Rev. Fr. Conor Molony, St. Patrick’s Missionary Society, Kiltegan, Wicklow; formerly of The Green, Holycross, Thurles, Co Tipperary and Nakuru Diocese, Kenya, East Africa.

Predeceased by his sister Josie (Quinn, Killenaule) and by his brothers Timmy (Clara, Co. Offaly ) and Pierce (Dublin); Fr. Molony passed away while in the care of the staff at Naas General Hospital, Craddockstown Road, Naas, Co. Kildare.

His passing is deeply regretted by his sister, Sr. Molly (Union of Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Zambia), his brother Tom (Holycross), his sister-in-law Elizabeth; his nieces; nephews; grandnieces; grandnephews; the parishioners at St. Michael’s Parish, Kiamaina, Nakuru, Kenya; extended relatives; friends, and by his colleagues within his society family.

Requiescat in Pace.

Funeral Arrangements

The earthly remains of Fr. Molony will lie in repose at St. Patrick’s Missionary Society, Kiltegan, Co. Wicklow on tomorrow, Saturday September 7th, with removal to St Patrick’s Chapel at 5:30pm.
Funeral Mass will take place on Sunday at 12:00 noon, followed by interment in the Society Cemetery.

    Rest in peace Fr. Conor Molony. We the St Catherine Choir, Nakuru, loved you so much, but God loved you more. Till we meet again.
