Death Of Ray McCabe, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, on Wednesday 3rd April 2019, of Mr Ray McCabe, Beaumont, Co. Dublin; Glasnevin, Co. Dublin and formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

In his 86th Year; Mr McCabe passed away peacefully, while in the tender care of the staff of the St. Laurence Ward, at Beaumont Hospital, Co. Dublin.

Predeceased by his siblings Dorothy, June, Shirley and Eoin; his passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Alice; sons Owen and John; daughters Kathryne, Michele, Louise and Emma; his grandchildren; his sister Yvonne; brothers Terry, Brian and Niall; sisters-in-law Maie, Michelle and Teresa; brother-in-law Kevin; nephews; nieces; extended relatives; former colleagues at Berkel and Avery Scales; FÁS/AnCO; members at Forest Little Golf Club; North Dublin Radio Club; neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements

The earthly remains of Mr McCabe will lie in repose at Lanigan’s Funeral Home, Beaumont Road, Dublin 9, on this afternoon, Friday 5th April 2019, from 4.00pm6.00pm (prayers at 4.30).

Requiem Mass will be held on Saturday morning at 11.00am in the Church of the Nativity of Our Lord, Montrose Park, Beaumont, Dublin 5, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Glasnevin Cemetery Finglas Road, Glasnevin, Dublin, D11.

    Sorry to hear of Ray’s death. We were in the same class in school and were pals when we first got interested in girls.
