It was with sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 16th February 2019, of Mr Tom O’Dowd, No. 5 Beechwood Lawns, Kickham Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Athnid, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr O’Dowd passed away while in the wonderful care of the Staff at the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles.
Predeceased by his parents Josie and Michael, his sisters Josephine, Phil and Marian, his brothers Joe and John; his passing will be sadly missed by his sisters Kay, Helena and Theresa; brothers Michael and Pat; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; grandnieces; grandnephews; aunts; cousins; extended relatives and many good friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr O’Dowd will lie in repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Lognafulla, Thurles, on tomorrow evening, Monday February 18th, from 5.00pm to 6.45pm, to arrive at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles at 7.15pm.
Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday February 19th, at 11.00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Donations, if desired, to the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles.
