It is with sadness that we learned of the death today, Saturday 9th February 2019, of Mr Tom Shanahan, No. 4 Pallas Street, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Shanahan passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family; wife Josie; sons Philip, Tom, John, and Paul; daughter Siobhan; grandchildren Steven, Michelle, Kyle, Sharon, Eanna, Emma, Aoife, Niamh, Cormac and Fionn; son-in-law Colm; daughters-in-law Mary; Maura; Catherine; partner Ann-Marie; sisters Nan, Mary B, and Breda; brothers-in-law Jim and Sean; extended relatives, neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Shanahan will lie in repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Castlequarter House, Borrisoleigh, on Monday evening next, February 11th, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
Removal to the nearby Church of the Sacred Heart, Borrisoleigh for Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning, February 12th, at 11.00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
