It was with sadness that we learned of the death, on Friday 1st February 2019, of Mrs Mary (Mai) Counihan (née Healy), Bengal Terrace, Limerick City, Co. Limerick and formerly of Ballingarry (South Riding), Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by her husband Christy; Mrs Counihan passed away peacefully while at her home.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her daughter Ann; son Christopher; brother Tom; Aunt Rita; Uncle Terry Guiry; extended family; neighbours and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Counihan will lie in repose at Thompson’s Funeral Home, No. 40 Thomas Street, Limerick, on tomorrow evening, Monday February 4th, from 5.30pm to 7.00pm.
Removal will take place on Tuesday morning, February 5th, to St John’s Cathedral, Limerick, for Requiem Mass at 11.00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Craughan Cemetery, Cratloe, Co. Clare.
