It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Tuesday 18th September 2018, of Brother Edmund Luke Kiely, formerly of Thurles, Co. Tipperary and late of Whites Cross, Co. Cork.
Son of the late Tadhg and Lettie Kiely and brother of the late Stephen and Tim; Br. Kiely passed away unexpectedly while in Lanzarote.
His passing is most deeply mourned by his family; Charles, Maureen, Margot, Christy and Ann; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; extended relatives and the Congregation of Christian Brothers.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Br. Kiely will repose at Barry Bros. Funeral Home, Hazelwood, Glanmire Co. Cork from tomorrow Wednesday, with removal at 7.30pm, on same day, (Wednesday,) to St. Michael’s Church, Upper Glanmire Co. Cork.
Requiem Mass will take place at 12.00 noon on Thursday, followed by interment immediately afterwards to Rathcooney Cemetery, Rathcooney, Co. Cork.
