Roadworks Planned On Mitchell Street, Thurles
Tipperary County Council announced on Friday, 7th September, 2018, that they intend to undertake road resurfacing work on Mitchel Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary; same commencing on tomorrow, Monday September 10th.
Parents and public transport, particularly travelling from the east into the town, intent on dropping off school students in the area of Cathedral Street, should take special note and plan their route accordingly.
This narrow street scape, which has had its footpaths upgraded over the past number of days, will be reduced to just a single lane, with local traffic management in place. Delays can be expected as this essential works gets under way; same expected to take, overall, some three days to fully complete.
Tipperary County Council regrets any inconvenience caused.
